Cooperative and Condominium Law

Cooper Square MHA Cooperative

Cooper Square Cooperative contains 328 apartments (some with commercial space) in 21 buildings scattered throughout the Lower East Side of Manhattan.

228 W 17th Tenants Association Conversion

After over a decade of negotiating with the City of New York, the tenants have purchased the building and have created a tenant owned limited equity housing cooperative.

Old Precinct Condominium

43 Herbert Street is a landmark police precinct complex, consisting of a three-story former station house and a stable wing to the east, connected by a one-story passageway.

Washington Bridge View

Mastermind Management Ltd., a privately held real estate development company based in the Bronx, developed this mixed-use project on Featherbed Lane in the Morris Heights section of the Bronx.

TLK Manor

The project consists of an 82 unit new construction multifamily affordable housing development on two privately owned vacant parcels.

Hillside

RiseBoro Community Partnership Inc., a Brooklyn-based, not-for-profit organization, joined forces with Coconut Properties LLC to develop a senior supportive housing project in the Inwood neighborhood of Manhattan.

Victory Commons

M/WBE developer Exact Capital is partnering with the Victory Baptist Church to build 95-units of affordable housing development in the Bronx.

The Robeson

The Robeson is an M/WBE mixed income project by Lemor Development Group LLC. The project consists of a 79-unit new construction multifamily affordable housing development on two privately-owned vacant parcels and 3 city owned parcels in Harlem.

St. Stephen and St. Martin’s Church

The St. Stephen St. Martin’s Church project consists of a combination of market rate homes and a new 11,000 square foot church facility to replace a deteriorated, 100+-year-old church on Jefferson Avenue in the Bedford Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn.

Covington Garrett Intergenerational Home

Covington Garrett Intergenerational Home in Jamaica, Queens is only the second “grandparents” affordable housing project in New York State, and only one of a handful across the country.

Muller Residential Job Training Facility

The Muller Residential Job Training Facility is a $15.5 million dollar tax-credit project that will provide housing and support for the homeless by the Doe Fund.

365 Jay Street Firehouse

The Schoolhouse Apartments in Binghamton, New York were developed through the rehabilitation and historic preservation of the St. Cyril Catholic School.

Hope East of Fifth

At the time of its construction closing, Hope East of Fifth was the largest resyndication project ever funded by NYC Housing Development Corporation and The City of New York, acting by and through its Department of Housing Preservation and Development.

Acacia Gardens

This East Harlem project is a development in an urban “hot zone” where New York City Mayor deBlasio and Council, as well as other government officials and community boards, are actively involved and invested in the outcome and impact of the project.

695 Grand Street

695 Grand Street, located in the East Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, is a 51-unit affordable housing project that will have a mix of studios, one-, two- and three-bedrooms, with 41 units set aside for low- to moderate-income families.

1345 Rogers Avenue

1345 Rogers Avenue is an 8-story affordable rental building located in the East Flatbush section of Brooklyn.

Tremont Renaissance

Tremont Renaissance is a new construction development on several lots of a privately owned site in the East Tremont neighborhood of The Bronx.

Harlem Canaan House

The Canaan House Project consists of the acquisition and rehabilitation of a twenty (20) story building located in Manhattan, New York City.

Pratt Area Community Council, Inc., (PACC) developed this 98-unit permanent supportive housing project at a former Navy Brig site in Brooklyn.

West Tremont Senior Residences

The West Tremont Residences is a $17.4 million dollar tax-credit project for low-income seniors consisting of 60 one-bedroom apartments and one two-bedroom super’s apartment.

Tremont Renaissance is a new construction development on several lots of a privately owned site in the East Tremont neighborhood of The Bronx.

Beulah - NRP Restructuring

This project involved the workout of a distressed low income tax credit portfolio of 14 buildings (167 units) controlled by a nonprofit HDFC.

Harlem Dowling

Harlem Dowling is a joint venture between Harlem Dowling-West Side Center Children and Family Services, Alembic Community Development, and The Children’s Village.

El Jardin de Seline

A joint venture among We Stay – Nos Quedamos, Inc., MJM Construction Services, LLC, and Melrose Associates, LLC, El Jardin de Seline is a 12-story mixed-use rental apartment building in the Melrose Commons area of the South Bronx.

MBD Silva Taylor

MBD Silva Taylor consists of the acquisition and rehabilitation of 19 buildings containing 361 apartments for low-income individuals.

The Tiffany

This middle-income project on Tiffany Street in the Longwood section of the Bronx includes 54 new apartments, on-site parking and laundry facilities, an on-site gym and outdoor recreation space, private balconies, and a common terrace for all residents.
