Increasing Minority and Women Participation in Affordable Housing
Join Goldstein Hall for a seminar focusing on increasing minority and women participation in affordable housing. Our panel of industry experts will discuss:
- how to become an M/WBE certified developer or contractor,
- maximizing resources and opportunities available once a developer/ contractor is part of the M/WBE cohort (including HPD lead programs),
- breaking into the affordable housing network (who are the key players, securing public and private partnerships and tips to prepare for new projects),
- policy recommendations to improve the current regulatory landscape and promote the mayor’s goal to increase M/WBE participation.
This panel will provide intellectual capital, which will serve as a means of furthering emerging minority and women developers and contractors in affordable housing.
